We are so happy that our Christmas Day's sets orders was so that, more than what we expected.
The feedback was good with request for adding the main course and dessert into our menu.
Therefore, we decided to serve our christmas day's sets until New Year Day.
Just request for the set, and you will be served.

Marinated chicken breast grilled to a secret recipe with sesame and honey, served with seasonal veggies.

Captain’s Chicken (RM9.90-S; RM17.90-L)

Chicken breast cooked with our recipe of spices and herbs, served with rice and seasonal vegetables.

Challenge of the day

Last week, we received an unexpected walk-in, special order from our regular customer, for our signature dessert- The Rainbow lava.

She requested for an 8 inches diameter with a weight of 1kg - Rainbow Lava, instead of the normal serving size for 1 person, specially made for her son's birthday on that day. We were shocked and caught off guard, as we are not prepared for such a large size, Rainbow Lava.

After an hour of figuring out the way to make such a large Rainbow Lava, we finally decide to accept the challenge.

By then, we have less than 3 hours left before our customers come and collect the special custom made size (extra large size) -Rainbow Lava.

Actually, we have only 2 hours left, to prepare and bake before our customer turn up to collect.

Finally, 10 minutes before the agreed collection time, she turned up.

She was surprise to see that the Rainbow Lava, was just taken out of the oven and still very hot, and untouchable with hand.

After we have packed it in the box, she paid us and smiling all the way to her car.

We can see from our door that her son, was so happy that the surprise birthday cake was our signature dessert - Rainbow Lava.

For all the rushes and tension built up from preparation to boxed-up the Rainbow Lava, we felt that all these unexpected challenges, is worth taking-up.

We are happy and fully contented, that we did not turn down this challenge. The customer’s smiling face, that we saw as she walked to the car and her son’s happy expression is more than what we expect for.

Happy Occasion

Recently a group of 28 students celebrate their friends birthday in Rainbow Modern Western Cuisine.

They really enjoy the food & drink that we have prepare for them.. There is no left over of the food and drinks when they left.

While eating and chatting, they joked and laughed themselves though out the 3 hours long private party.

Experience is not a compulsory. But the willingness to learn and work with full commitment, is required.
Training will be provided. Salary will be based upon experience and skill.

Moving Towards Change

Recently the weather change leading to higher temperature, in view of such change, we have installed glass doors & enclosure to keep out the heat, and installed air-conditioner to cool down our place, to maintain the soothing feelings.

We kept our menu price structure as it is, (although we are faced with the daily price fluctuation in our purchases), in order to serve our value customers with true “Value For Money” food and beverage. As we understood that everyone is very cautions about they daily spending. we do not compromise our food quality with the additional overhead coming soon.

We are in the process of preparing additional new line of food & beverage for our value customers.

Erlendsson (2002) states:

Value for money (VFM) is a term used to assess whether or not an

He goes on to add:

Some elements may be subjective, difficult to measure, intangible and misunderstood. Judgement is therefore required when considering whether VFM has been satisfactorily achieved or not. It not only measures the cost of goods and services, but also takes account of:

Student Special Privilege Card

With the current curbing of spending by majority of people. The most affected are students, as some parents are cutting back the allowance given to them. Thus, majority of  the students are opting for cheaper food or spend less for food.

Most of them could not afford to buy or spend a lot on the Real Nutritious Food. Instead, will go for ready made or instant noodle.

We at Rainbow have decided to provide Good Real Nutritious Food without Compromised on Low and Cheap Quality Food, especially to students.

After much thought & planning for the past months, we have come up with a very reasonable priced STUDENTS SET MEAL.

On the other hand, in order to maintain the current customer base and the present quality food to all our existing customers, we have started to launch our STUDENT SPECIAL PRIVILGE CARD, for all students join.

All students are encouraged to join the Special Privilege Card for healthy and quality food at a very reasonable priced. & also entitled to the purchase of students meal and 10% discount on all our ala carte menu. Except alcoholic drinks and promotional items.

The membership form, can be obtained from RAINBOW during business hours or through request by email (flouworld@gmail.com).

A membership card will be issued upon completion of membership registration.

- The students meals will be priced from RM 4.50 to RM 6.90. everyday. Students will be given a choice of 3 different meal sets or sets of the day.

- A limited numbers of sets will be available for each day.

- students are advised to make reservation one day in advance by email (flouworld@gmail.com) or sms (019-4412979). this is to ensure the freshness of the food and to avoid disappointment.

Valentine day celebration pictures

It has been almost 3 weeks, since the valentine day celebration.

Finally, we managed to gather a few pictures taken by our customers and they were emailed to us.

On that lovely evening, couples coming in at different time. Starting from 6.45 pm until 10.30 pm.

Although the place was not jammed up at any particular time, it was well  spaced out, and everybody could enjoy the romantic candle light evening, at their own pace.

All the tables were occupied.  The food and beverage were served one after another. In a smooth pace, so that every couple can really enjoy the food and at the same time, each other company.

Each couple, start off the evening with our special sparkling concoction, followed by Little Caesar, Andalouse Fish, Tangerine Citrus Chicken and end with our Lemony Chocolate.

Before the dinner ended, the lady was presented with a rose and a surprise cute teddy in a bag, peeping out.

 

    

 

The last couple and also the youngest couple which came in for their romantic candle light dinner.

The romantic evening, ends with love and happiness. Although we were totally worn out, but very happy and full of energy,  looking at each loving and happy couple leaving Rainbow with smiling faces.

We look forward to having such a happy occasion in our place.
